Universal, all position, mild steel electrode. Blue Flux
The most versatile electrode for the maintenance department for welding all
mild and common steels. It tremendously simplifies all position welding and
produces quality weld deposits with superb bead appearance.
Typical Applications:
Angle Iron-Hand Trucks-Containers-Steel Platforms-Sheet Metal

Cabinets-Brackets-Mounts
Available in 3/32, 1/8 and 5/32 Diameters.

BLACK BEAUTY 90
New super strength mild steel rod with Auto Start. Black Flux
Black Beauty 90 is a brand new product which was developed for everyday
high strength repair. The tensile strength of Black Beauty 90 is up to
90,000 PSI - almost 50% higher than competitive mild steel rods and also
mild steel base metals. A totally new technology allows us to offer Auto
Start, a self-arcing feature that totally eliminates sticking when starting
a new rod. In addition to high strength and Auto Start, Black Beauty 90 is
extremely versatile. It can be used in all positions, on all parts, made of
common steel.
Available in 3/32, 1/8 and 5/32 Diameters.

LAGRANGE
SUPREME 100
High tensile electrodes for vertical welding or common steels. Purple
Flux
This ultrahigh tensile strength common steel electrode is designed
especially for extra strong joints in severe applications using common
grades of steel. Supreme 100 is flame cuttable, and one of the finest of
its type for vertical welding. Performance with small AC machines is excellent.
Typical Applications:
Use wherever out-of-position welding on common steels is required where
joint design necessitates a tensile strength that far exceeds that of
common steel in typical applications including bulkheads, floor plates,
partitions, shelving, braces, hoist tracks, etc.
Available in 1/8 Diameter.

MUD
ROD
Very high strength mild steel electrode for rusty and dirty
applications. Brown Flux
Mild steel electrode designed to be used in adverse conditions. Excels on
rusty, greasy, poor fitting joints in all positions. Can weld through
1/2" of surface contamination without porosity. Slag can be welded
over without removal.
Typical Applications:
Ideally suited for difficult maintenance repairs. Easily welds steels that
have been galvanized, painted, rusted, or otherwise contaminated in
service. Misaligned parts or difficult-to-access areas are also easily
remedied with this electrode. Available in 1/8 Diameter.

SUPER
GOLD
For welding all steels. Gold Flux
The absolute ultimate computer-engineered, high alloy, electrode for
welding every known grade of steel using every known stick electrode power
source! The first truly AC-DC mineral-coated high alloy that can be used by
anyone, regardless of prior welding experience. Superior combination
tensile strength and elongation, together with an arc so ionized you cannot
short it out.
Typical Applications:
Horizontal fillet welds in all grades of construction steels—welding every
known grade of tool steel, including prehardened types: join abrasion
resisting steels, join heat and corrosion resisting steels, many specialized
ironbase castings with high carbon content, and tools and dies of all
types.
Available in 3/32 and 1/8 Diameters.

SUPER HARD
Inexpensive low carbon steel parts. Gray Flux
When using LaGrange Super Hard as a wear resistant overlay, you can actually
purchase inexpensive low carbon replacement parts. The actual wear surface
of these parts— plow lathes and cultivator sweeps can then be easily
hardened by overlaying with LaGrange Super Hard. In addition to the savings
factor, these low alloy parts are less sensitive to breakage in use and do
not require preheating before welding.
Typical Applications:
Excellent for maintenance build-up or hard facing of a wide variety of
equipment parts such as loader buckets, draw bars and hitches, cylinder bars,
augers, etc.
Available in 3/32 and 1/8 Diameters.

SUPER
CAST
Ultimate electrode for all cast irons. Black Flux
The state-of-the-art electrode for welding every known grade of cast
iron—heavy sections or thin—and for joining these cast irons to steel. The
computer controlled coating produces welds that represent the optimum
relationship between tensile strength and machinability.
Typical Applications:
Weld all Grade 30-40-50 gray cast irons, all thicknesses, in all positions.
Engine blocks and diesel heads, gear boxes, transmission housings,
differentials, machine bases and presses.
Available in 1/8 Diameter.

ELECTRIC-BRAZE
Bronze alloy electrode for both ferrous and non-ferrous applications.
Brown Flux
Highly versatile, smooth-running, easy-to-handle bronze alloy electrode for
both ferrous and non-ferrous applications. Ideal for a wide variety of
uses, including filling in defects on brass and bronze, joining copper
alloys to ferrous metals (including cast irons), for salt water corrosion
resistance and where large, heavy overlays are required. Excellent wear
resistance. Ideally suited for overlaying and joining galvanized steels,
copper, bronze, brass or any combination.
Typical Applications:
Cams-Pumps-Valves-Pulleys-Pistons-
Housings-Impellers-Bushings-Axle Stops-Propellers-Mixer Arms-Feed
Screws-Bearing Surfaces-Conveyor Guides-Crosshead Slides-Drive Sprockets
Available in 1/8 Diameter.

ALUMINUM
ROD
Arc or Torch welding electrode. White Flux
5% silicon aluminum arc welding electrode that doubles as a flux coated
torch brazing alloy. Unique "Dual Coat" flux system allows this
product to work well with both the arc and torch welding process. Pure
white extruded flux coating maintains a long shelf life and outlasts
conventional products in moisture resistance.
Typical Applications:
For arc and torch welding aluminums alloyed with copper, silicon, and
magnesium. Also excellent for joining dissimilar grades of aluminum.
Available in 1/8 Diameter.

METAL
TERMITE
For chamfering, grooving and cutting all metals. Green Flux
The fastest, most economical method of removing unwanted metal. Uses a
common welding machine and can save hours of grinding and machine time.
Typical Applications:
Dismantling welded structures, such as towers, sign supports, and pipe
piles. Use for blowing out rivets and for removing old weld overlays on
cross-overs and switches. Ideal for preparing work-hardened or heat-treated
dies for welding.
Available in 1/8 Diameter.
